This journal focuses on the theory, practice and teaching of translation; it is a forum for exchanging ideas between practicing translators/ interpreters and representatives of Polish theory-oriented research environments. The Journal's language is Polish, resulted from two major reasons: to provide a discussion forum for representatives of various departments and chairs of (foreign) languages (without any language being the dominant one) and the desire to reach a wide audience in Poland.
