This website provides Teaching and Research Staff (PDI) with a useful tool for objective data on the quality and impact of the academic journals in which we publish. This information is often scattered and not always easy to collect. That is why we believe that this resource is the answer to a growing need for bibliometric information on scientific production and we hope it will become a useful tool for PDI staff needing to accredit their academic trajectory or scientific production in the field of Translation and Interpreting Studies.
In these pages you will find a list of academic journals that cover this area of knowledge along with quality indicators for the different resources that are validated by the accreditation bodies in our country: AQU, ANECA and CNEAI. The profile for each journal includes other useful information, such as a link to the journal’s website. Additionally, there are links to different bibliographic catalogs where you can consult the requirements for publication in each case, the policy and permissions for self-archiving, or else whether the journal is open access or peer reviewed.
This initiative, a collaboration between the Department of Translation and Interpreting and the staff of the Humanities Library of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, is a living project that is constantly updated and improved to offer a better service to the scientific community.
